As Director of School Leadership, Suzette leverages her decades of experience as an educator and school leader to plan with, coach, and mentor school leaders across the country who are designing, launching, and iterating on innovative public high school models. She recently relocated to Cleveland after teaching and leading public schools in Brooklyn, New York, for 15 years, most recently as Principal of the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice, which earned a spot on the list of top public high schools in New York City during her tenure.
Suzette has worked with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District to support their efforts in recruiting and selecting talented school leaders and teachers. She is passionate about improving professional development for school leaders and teachers so that education professionals can provide equitable, rigorous learning experiences for all students.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master of Science in Education from Long Island University, and a School-Based Leader Certificate from Baruch College, the City University of New York.
