As Program Associate, Tasha applies her experience with communications, program coordination, public policy, and teaching to support the implementation of innovative school models, manage special projects, and develop resources for Springpoint partners.

Prior to joining Springpoint, Tasha supported a community of expanded learning intermediaries as Communications and Policy Manager at Every Hour Counts. As Legislative Fellow and Press Assistant in the Office of Congresswoman Niki Tsongas, she advised the Congresswoman on a portfolio of issues, including education, healthcare, and welfare, and ran social media campaigns. Before her stint in Washington, DC, Tasha supported two cohorts of high school students and their mentors through their freshman year as a Program Coordinator at iMentor NYC. Tasha began her career in education as a Teach for America corps member, teaching kindergarten in New Haven, Connecticut. She is also a mentor coach and Young Leadership Board member with America Needs You.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, with a minor in political science, from Northeastern University.
